EFCE Excellence Award in Fluid Separations
The EFCE has established an Excellence Award to recognise PhD theses which demonstrate the most outstanding contribution to research and/or practice in Fluid Separations. The EFCE Excellence Award in Fluid Separations is presented every four years to recognise a PhD thesis published in the preceding four-year period, which demonstrates an outstanding contribution to research and/or practice in Fluid Separations.

Winners of the award
The 2026 EFCE Excellence Award in Fluid Separations was presented to Dr. Dr. Ana Isabel Carreiro Furtado at the 13th International Conference on Distillation & Absorption which will be held in Salzburg, Austria, on 30 August - 2 September 2026.
