EFCE President

Dr. Hermann J. Feise
(term of office: 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021)

Dr. Hermann J. Feise, Germany, succeeds Prof. Rafiqul Gani, who held this position for four years (2014-2017).
At the EFCE General Assembly in Barcelona, Spain, in 2017 he was elected for a two-year term of office with effect from 1 January 2018. At the recent General Assembly in Florence, Italy, he was re-elected as the EFCE President for a second two-year term of office (1 January 2020 - 31 December 2021).
Hermann Feise is manager for R&D Cooperations with BASF and a member of DECHEMA. He first joined the EFCE Executive Board in 2008, serving as Scientific Vice-President from 2008 to 2012 and then as a co-opted member and trustee until now.

Mr. Giorgio Veronesi
(term of office: 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021)

Mr. Giorgio Veronesi, Italy, succeeds Prof. Mike Considine, who held this position for four years (2014-2017); he also holds the role of EFCE Treasurer. At the EFCE General Assembly in Barcelona, Spain, in 2017 he was elected for a two-year term of office with effect from 1 January 2018.
At the recent General Assembly in Florence, Italy, he was re-elected as the EFCE Executive Vice-President for a second two-year term of office (1 January 2020 - 31 December 2021).
Giorgio Veronesi spent his career in the Engineering and Construction business and is currently Commercial Manager with Techint in Milan and member of the Executive Committee of AIDIC. He first joined the Executive Board in 2016 as a trustee.

EFCE Scientific Vice-President

Professor David Bogle
(term of office: 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021)

Prof. David Bogle, United Kingdom, succeeds Professor Jean-Marc Le Lann, who held this position for four years (2014-2017). At the recent EFCE General Assembly in Barcelona, Spain, he was elected for a two-year term of office with effect from 1 January 2018. At the recent General Assembly in Florence, Italy, he was re-elected as the EFCE Scientific Vice-President for a second two-year term of office (1 January 2020 - 31 December 2021).
David Bogle is professor of chemical engineering and Pro-Vice-Provost of the Doctoral School at University College London, as well as a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Bogle is a long-serving member of the CAPE Working Party and was its deputy chair from 2003 to 2008.
