Workshop Programmes (Afternoon)

Early Career Round Table Discussion (14:00 - 15:30 CET)

Chemical Engineers have a diverse skill set ranging from mathematical aptitude, problem solving and data modeling. This leads to a variety of possible career paths within R&D, engineering design and Operations across multiple industries helping to shape the future of the European industrial landscape. The main goal of this workshop is to gather examples of Early Career ChemEngs in order to support the Early Career Community to stay connected, raise awareness of development opportunities and share best practices in areas of expertise.

Panel Discussion

The event will be focused on the answering the following topics which are subject to slight change:

  • How can chemical engineers develop sustainable solutions? Including examples from panelists own research and work;
  • How can chemical engineers work together across the world to achieve a sustainable future? What challenges and solutions will this pose?
  • How can chemical engineers work to develop future generations of engineers so that sustainability becomes a key value?
  • What initiatives exist to ensure sustainability? Examples from panelists that will inspire the audience.
