The EFCE has established a biennial Excellence Award to recognise PhD theses which demonstrate the most outstanding contribution to research and/or practice in Product Design and Engineering.

Call for nominations

This document describes how this award series will operate and the rules & procedures governing nomination and selection of candidates. The Award is presented every two years.

The call for nominations for the 2021 Excellence Award in PD&E is closed.

Winners of the award

The award will be presented to Dr.-Ing. Christian Rieck on Monday, 20 September 2021 at the Symposium "Future Directions in Product Design and Engineering".
The Symposium will be held as a satellite event of the 13th European Congress of Chemical Engineering
