Introduction - Objectives of the Section 

 

European Workshop on Food Engineering and Technology

The 12th  European PhD Workshop on Food Engineering and Technology will be held in Freising-Weihenstephan, Germany, on 17-18 April 2018.
The workshop is organised by the Section on Food of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) in cooperation with the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) and Technical University of Munich, Food and Bioprocess Engineering

Co-chairmen: Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kulozik (TU Munich) and Prof. Dr. Dietrich Knorr (TU Berlin)

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT and INVITATION


Two valuable rewards of 2,500 € will be offered to the best presentation, selected
from the PhD students’ presentations for:

  • JULIUS MAGGI RESEARCH AWARD 2018
    Sponsored by Nestlé PTC Singen, DE
    Focus: Food Product Engineering
  • BÜHLER FOOD ENGINEERING AWARD 2018
    Sponsored by Bühler AG, Uzwil, CH
    Focus: Food Process Engineering

Nominations of excellent PhD candidates are sought. Documents of the candidates should be sent to the national organisation responsible for Food Engineering and Technology or to a leading Professor in Food Engineering and Technology within the respective country without national organization and then forwarded to the Workshop Co-chairs   and until 15 February  2018
