Dear members of EFCE,
Hello and welcome to the first EFCE newsletter of the new year.
We especially look forward to the next series of Spotlight Talks, which will take place 15-28 March. Eleven of the Working Parties and Sections will present eleven webinars over the week – look inside for the timetable.
Looking further ahead there is this year’s CHISA conference, coming to Prague on 25-29 August. You can still submit papers – deadline is 29 February.
We’d also like to draw your attention to the EFCE-EMS Joint Excellence Award in Membrane Engineering, and the Excellence Award in Comminution and Classification, both of which are still accepting nominations.
Lastly, we would like to congratulate Prof Maarten Schutyser, who has succeeded Angelique Leonard as chair of the Working Party on Drying and Prof Kevin Van Geem who succeeded Olaf Hinrichsen as chair of the Working Party on Chemical Reaction Engineering.
For more details on all the above – and plenty more we did not have space for here – please read the newsletter.
Warm regards
Claudia
