George Stephanopoulos Award in Process Systems Engineering
The George Stephanopoulos Award is presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in Process Systems Engineering.
The Award is co-sponsored by the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, the EFCE Working Party on Computer Aided Process Engineering, and the AIChE-CAST Division.
Call for nominations 2026
The call for nominations for the 2026 George Stephanopoulos Award in Process Systems Engineering is open.
Documents to be submitted with the nomination:
- List of nominators and their signature
- Scope & significance of the contribution in PSE (provide a short description highlighting the scope & significance of the contributions, etc.) of the candidate. Scope in terms of application range, problems solved, etc. of the contribution; and significance of the contribution in terms of the value of the contribution, state of the art, etc.; max 4 pages
- References and citations (related to the listed contributions) – minimum 3
- Short CV
The nominations should be sent to the Chair of the EFCE Working Party on CAPE, Prof. Zdravko Kravanja (zdravko.kravanja(at)um.si), with a copy to the Secretary of CAPE WP, Lidija Čuček (lidija.cucek(at)um.si).
